Oak Framed House

This new house in the Teign valley is a replacement dwelling. It is made from a 2-storey 'T'-shaped pre- fabricated timber frame and a single storey green oak framed barn room. There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en-suite and a ground floor shower room.

The Stunning Green Oak frame was constructed in the traditional method using pegged mortice and tenon joints by Carpenter Oak of Totnes.

A spectacular double height entrance lobby boasts a beautiful oak staircase. With windows on every side the space is flooded with natural light.

The Beautiful barn room provides a large open plan kitchen/dining and living area with wonderful light and splendid views out over the surrounding countryside.

At the far end of the room a large wood burning stove from Dean Forge suits the rustic feel of the room perfectly.
